Any expat wants a free new Mercedes-Benz suv?

Blue Mall Santo Domingo is currently raffling a new Mercedes-Benz GLB 200 to a lucky winner. The requisites to enter are the following:

- Buy in Piso 3, Piso 4 of Blue Mall Santo Domingo or for every purchase of RD$4,000 in any if the other businesses including the restaurants and the JW Marriott Hotel bar, you get one electronic ticket to enter in the raffle.​

- Plus, if you pay with Banreservas Platinum or Black credit or debit cards, you get two tickets instead of one and a chance of winning a RD$3,000 certificate to be used at select stores in Blue Mall Santo Domingo.​

​

- Any purchase in the Pop Up Store "The Whisky Store" in Piso 1 will get you two electronic tickets in the raffle.​

Your receipt must be registered in order to complete participation in the raffle at Information desk in Piso 1 or send a copy of the recei[t(s) to modulodeinformacion@bluemall.com.do.

Entering the raffle can be done multiple times until January 8, 2023.

Gringos are not 'allowed' to win such premium prizes. In the car raffles I have seen at Jumbo and Playero I have never seen a foreigner win.. Of course there are many more Dominican shoppers filling out raffle tickets, but you would think the odds might be tilted.
Of course this is more than the Kia Picanto they have give away a couple times at Playero, which is just above a skateboard in size

I used to buy a lot of fuel from them so a ton of tickets, so I bought a rubber stamp with my details and used that to stamp them one by one. I still have the stamp here on my desk. lol

Well that sucks. I remember one year filling out like a zillion of those Isla entries. I had Mr AE’s cedula memorized. 😀

After the scandals they have had with lotteries in this country I wouldn't bet on this being on the up and up,I'm not saying it isn't but I wouldn't be surprised if it was rigged.

Another Mercedes-Benz SUV (this time a 2023 model) is being raffled by the Dominican Rehabilitation Asociation. Every ticket (RD$600) gets you a chance to win the vehicle. To purchase the ticket you must go to the Dominican Rehab website www.adr.org.do or call them at the numver in the lower right. The proceeds will go to benefit the rehab asociation (finishing of a rehab center in Santo Domingo; finishing the expansion of the rehab centers in Guerra, Hato Mayor, Barahona, and Santiago; and maintenance at their other locations). The raffle will take place on January 19, 2023 in the TV program "Esta noche Mariasela" on channel 9 of Color Vision.

PS. These are all the places in Santo Domingo where tickets can be bought in person.

I’d buy tickets at $8000 pesos that you’re right.

Those Dominicans don’t give anything away. Raffle or otherwise.

Avoid any games, lottery, raffles, ect in the DR that are based on "random" numbers being drawn. You can thank me later.

CENAPEC is raffling a new 2023 Kia Sonet. Tickets are RD$500 and on sale at CENAPEC, Grupo Viamar headquarters, Casa Alegre, FUNDAPEC, Acrópolis and Sambil. There appears to be no limit of how many tickets can be purchased by one person. The winner will be announced on the last Sunday of September in the Dominican TV show "Con Jatnna."

The vehicle raffled is similar to this one (could be of a different color and have different features.)
