It is probably best to contact Pedro via email, which is in the first post in this thread.
That is not going to be an inexpensive trip, but worth it, as I am sure you will stop and see a bit of the country on the way. By the time you take several taxis and a bus, you will be worn out after a flight, I would go with a driver and relax door to door.
