Great video Gurabo, love the EDM mix too, wish there was a place in STI that plays this music, keep the videos coming.

Thanks, I will keep shooting and uploading more videos for all of you. Umm, I think nearly all middle class Discos, Bars, lounges etc in Santiago play A LOT of EDM, I think is by far the most popular foreigh genre in the city, only Bachata and Merengue Tipico are more popular. Certainly the most poplar music style among the middle to upper middle class youth. A few years ago I would never listen to EDM, but I got into itafter listening to it so often in STI clubs.

For example, in Dubai and Moma half of the music played there is EDM, and sometimes they'll have DJ's solely playing EDM, I mention these two, because they're two of the most well known clubs in the city! But other clubs and bars such as Bene Cafe,Satay, Alambique (S-Bar), La Rue, Knights, Queen Elizabeth, Level etc.. will play a ton of EMD and some even have one day of the week when they exclusively play EDM. Heck, Vicci Room in los Jardines is a club that solely plays EDM. In any case, here are few EDM parties in Santiago.

Valeu Cara!
You have opened my eyes to the EDM scene in DR, thanks for sharing the videos. I just went to TomorrowWorld a couple of weeks ago, so I'm a big fan. Next time I go to DR I'll look up those clubs you mentioned.

Ha ha.. I think that's Sayanoras truck again!! LOL

For those of you who have smart phones, download "Shazam" from the google play store. You have it "listen" to the song for a few seconds, and it will then tell you the name of the song and the group.

If you're so inclined, you can then search for the song on Youtube, and copy the url to youtube-mp3.org, and it will convert the video to a song which you can download to your pc library.

I don't have a Gopro, but I do have a great Blackbox HD 1080 dashcam that records all of my driving on a memory card. It only runs about 55 bucks.

Stick it on your dash or windshield, plug into your lighter, and you're good to go.

Sometimes I think I'll upload some of my trips to and from work in Haina. They make driving in Santiago look like a walk in the park.

Please do post those videos. Would be great to see.

Some of those shots seem to suggest that the cameraman was sitting on the hood of the car. Or was a very long selfie stick involved?

Fun to watch.
