Actually the reason why I was asking about duty free is because the brand of cigs that I smoke, I cannot buy at the airport in my city in Canada. Vogue menthol. You cannot buy menthol cigs in Canada anymore.

If anyone can recommend a really really mild menthol cigarette to purchase in POP , that would be wonderful.

point the green ones, mild
nise , green ones, strong.

Count 750 to 1000 pesos for a paquete, 10 packets of 20 cigarettes.

Lots of menthol choice here. Buy a bunch of single packs of different brands and find the one you like the most to take home. Although the number of cigarettes you can bring into Canada duty free is limited to the point that a major taste test is kind of a wasted effort.

Now if you are prepared to declare and pay the duty, then have at it. You can always come for the sun and drinks then stay for the menthol cigarettes.

How is this a ripoff ? LCBO price for 750 ml Drambuie is $42.90 CAD. Total Wines Miami $37.99 USD for 750 ml.
They paid $55 USD for 2 liters ( 2000 ml ).
Do the math brother
I did say high end ...Drambuie is not high end

but Astucia you said.........

Quite possibly they paid $55 per bottle? Which I think is the case. A quick Google search and Drambuie comes up at $42 to $55 a bottle at different Duty Free stores in different countries.

I have yet to find anything cheaper at Dufry Duty free that I can't find for the same or lower price in SD Centro. Prices at the larger supermarkets are cheaper for smokes, booze, and coffee than Dufry.

but bigbird ....Astucia is a mathematician ...haha

Licormart has the best prices in the DR hands down. And way cheaper than Duty Free on DR Rums.
