EDENorte North Coast: Electricity Outages & Restoration Announcements
Power restored for my area. I'm told some sort of problem on the highway has been either cleared away or fixed.
I have looked at the maintenance schedule for Edenorte for next week and it looks like Luperon and numerous parts of Puerto Plata are scheduled for a power interruption from 11 to 4 and 11 to 5 respectively on Tuesday. That's not to say the power won't go off elsewhere on that day or that the cut off/restart times will be respected. Just be aware that there is a good chance that some of you will be without power for 5+ that day.

I was prepared today to give 5 stars to Edenorte for a week of 24/7 but alas the power went out last night as i was trying to run the AC to cool the bedroom.

Power flickered briefly here around 7 pm but didn't actually go out and stay out. I too was thinking that we had quite the consistent run, but the back of my brain knows it will not last.
Power went out briefly this morning in the Eastern part of Sosua. Came back on pretty quickly. They must be practicing shutting the power off for when Linda arrives. Please make the effort to document your power outages on the north coast as we all have a vested interest in knowing what's going on and where.
Parts or all of La Mulata in Sosua are currently running on 1 phase only. We lost the 2nd 120V line. For me that mean inverter has kicked in and we have to begin rationing power as we have o idea how long before the problem is fixed. And of curse no pumps to pump water to the house.
Kudos for reporting the outage to edenorte and then trying to find out what's going on. What's the process (link) for making an online report?

I don't think my street has a street name and if it does I do not know what it is. Some of those red * may prevent me from being able to complete the form and successfully submit it. Not sure why they need to know my birthday?
