I've been away for a while.

Can I still order a TV on Amazon, have it delivered to Sosua by EPS and pay NO Duty or Taxes if it is less than $200USD?

If so.... does the $200 include the US taxes paid and/or the EPS shipping costs? ie..... is the $200 the total bill or just the TV price?

The $200 USD limit is set by Aduanas, not by the courier, and it does include the shipping costs - which are zero when shipped by Amazon and others. It doesn't include the courier's shipping cost. BM Cargo still accepts TV's. I don't see any reason EPS wouldn't(?).

The $200USD limit refers to the total on the invoice from the original point of sale. If that invoice has tax or shipping(from the seller to EPS) included in the total, then the total must be under the 200 US. The cost of EPS shipping will not be included.

I believe it used to be under 39 inches and less than 200 dollars you wouldn't pay taxes. At EPS, the dimensions do not matter according to the agent last time i asked. Only the price.

But now, TV's aren't as expensive here as they were years ago. Unless it's some extremely crazy deal i don't think it would be worth it, especially with the risk.

Jeez. I can't believe you can get a Samsung 43" for $19900. When I bought mine it was more expensive than a 55" now.

I can't believe how low those prices are now.
