What are you making? A cheesecake? Sometimes I use shortbread cookies and/or Biscoff which are amazing, if you can find either of those. Or, with the holidays here, you should be able to find plain butter cookies. You can even use chocolate chip cookies for a pie crust, oreos, etc. It really depends on what you're baking.

I have plans for an Italian cheesecake or a 50s Dream Pie when Beloved Son visits later this month. I thought about butter cookies or oreos. I know they work. Inexplicably, I wanted to go traditional.
