I used Dollar Rent A Car. Rented a hundai van off the webpage for around US$100 per day. They met me @ the airport in Punta Cana and did all the paperwork in the car. Very professional. I denied any insurance because for a flat rate of $20 American Express provides all necessary coverage up to $75,000. The van was standard. I asked them if they could change it for an automatic. They said they couldnt change it that day but following day would not be a problem. However I would be in La Romana. They said they would meet me in the Jumbo parking lot in La Romana the following day to exchange it. I highly doubted this but got a phone call the next day that they were there with the automatic. Needless to say i was pleased with the service.
