My condolences to her family, friends and colleagues. I thought she was going to be ok too, on what I saw from the rescue video. May she rest in peace 🙏

What are you basing your assertion that they have no problem filling rusty gas tanks? I once took a tank that I hadn't noticed was in a rather dangerous condition to get it filled and they would only partially fill it. My Dominican friend could not afford a new gas tank so for a while had to have it partially filled at a couple of local places where they would not completely fill it.Well, there are rare exceptions. Very rare ones.
Experience of what I saw them filling when I was having mine filled. But that could just be me and other posters in this thread who recognized the same. What are you basing your assertion that they have no problem filling rusty gas tanks? Same. I just saw another video of her leaving the scene of the explosion and she was walking on her own two feet with minimal assistance. My condolences to her family, friends and colleagues. I thought she was going to be ok too, on what I saw from the rescue video. May she rest in peace 🙏

Could be. The first one I saw was with her upper body out of the rubble, the next one I saw had her walking out (supported by others) with someone's shirt covering her.Same. I just saw another video of her leaving the scene of the explosion and she was walking on her own two feet with minimal assistance.
Her face had burns, but they looked like second degree burns.
I'm guessing her internal organs were damaged beyond repair in the explosion.
Butyl Mercaptan is added to propane to enable consumers to detect leaks by smell. Because the leaking propane is heavier than air it’s not always easy to detect small leaks in enclosed spaces until they build up to the extent where the smallest ignition source ignites it. Especially in warmer climates where doors and windows tend to remain open bur air flow is minimal.Could be. The first one I saw was with her upper body out of the rubble, the next one I saw had her walking out (supported by others) with someone's shirt covering her.
Even at that stage, she was trying to cover herself up and holding the shirt in front of her. I thought 'good, she is conscious, thinking of her dignity and kind of walking, so should survive, thank god'
The next one I saw was her in a wheelchair. I was shocked to see this post in whatsapp today when I did. A needless loss.
Don't they add any smelly chemical to the gas to warn of a leak ? Mercaptan ? Usually that helps unless one has a blocked nose. Even as a child I was taught to open windows if this smell comes and avoid light switches or anything that causes a spark (3rd world country childhood)
As said in this story, she died in hospital at later time because of serve damage to her body. You can see story here:

Can't you read? There is no Lisa. Her name is Carmen and she died at hospital at later time from the blast. I shared the source.Once again, the article alleges Lisa suffered injuries from the blast. It's already been reported she wasn't there.

I rest my case.
I am not sure, the building that was destroyed was to the left of the house in the middle, it was a distinct grey/blue and red building. In your photo it is hidden by the billboard on the left (you can see the partial phone number and 'solutions.com') . In May, I went there and waited outside in the car, while my friend finished some business in there. It was a nice office. I hope she had insurance.I took this picture in July this year, as you can see the construction in the background is the house where the explosion took place.
JJ
That is correct Lindsey. The builiding that blew up housing Lisa Legal Solutions was to the left (west) of that image of the SOUSA sign and is not visible in this picture at all other then the signs you can see through the screen of metal grill on the left side of the image. Her building was one story, if I remember correctly, and looking at the photo above it would be on the left. You cannot see it.
Years ago this thread and the "Lawyer office explosion" thread would have been merged together
by now.
Been there done that. Seamanship training in Halifax in the early eighties. R.C.N.Same. Did firefighting and Damage Control training in the military. You think Firefighting is scary, try being in a big tank with thousands of gallons of water pouring in and all you've got is some boards to stop it.
