Since we're having some issues with a soccer/football player and name recognition....

Perhaps we should just identify 'famous' sightings in the country.

I, for one, agree - Rep Dom is an attractive destination - but it seems to cross ALL boundaries

Example - here in Cabrera / Rio San Juan area we get our fair share -

I'll start a list -

J Lo.... her boyfriend showed too for a visit - A-Rod
Bill Ackman - Wall St guy *
Michael Jordan - several visits - I hear has bought on the golf course
Lenny Kravits
Rickie Fowler*
Zack Greinke -*
Mark Wahlberg*
Farheed Zakaria*

I am forgetting several.... will follow up
Many own property here *

Last night -
Christian Bale* was at the next table for for dinner - w/ family - regular visitor

Yes, we have an advantage her - couple of 'high rent' properties.hotels

But with people like this - word spreads

All augers well for the country - specifically tourism

I don't doubt La Romana and PUJ get similar sightings.

I hope we have fun logging these visitors.
No need to elaborate too much - just cite sightings

Not funny bro. What makes you think I'm joking?? Because I didn't name the actor. He's staying in my building and I wanted to post as little info as I could to be discrete. Good luck with this tread. Wow...typical DR1. I say black you say white. Sorry I posted and I ask that the mods to delete post #2.

I will give you a few from the Hard Rock when I was there.

James Harden was there a few times. He did not gamble in the Casino but loved the Disco we have there. Regular guy, no entourage.

Big Papi I had to reserve table for 10 in the Disco a few times.

Bill Clinton after the Haiti earthquake. A lot of dignitaries were there for relief of Haiti. He came in the Sportsbook, sat in the first row in the afternoon when not many people were there. I did speak to him to see if he needed anything. He wanted a drink so I send the waitress over. She serves him and has no idea who he is. I tell her he was President of the United States. No wonder he gave me a $5 tip she says. He was OK. A lot of secret service close by.

Also Leonel and his wife were there a few times. Leonel had our best suite and only ate his meals there with a chef we sent. His wife came a few times without him. She was out in the restaurants. Leonel and his wife were always "on the arm".

Yes.... Playa Grande Beach Club.... the Boykin Curry project
Not to be confused with the Golf Course project
This project is why the food shacks were relocated..... really nice place the Beach Club
