Are there cruises from Florida to Puerto Rico?

Not sure if it would be possible, but booking a cruise with a return several weeks (or however long desired) later would obviate the need for flights.

Exactly. I got it to use as ID in the US (no longer have a US drivers' license), but it's good for some international travel (Canada, Mexico, Caribbean) as long as it is not by air.

I have one, and I live here in the DR.
It is not good for international travel,but GREAT as a "ID" card here in the DR, and in the USA, probably everywhere else too.
It is like a credit card and fits in your wallet, unlike a bulky passport.
It it is lost or stole,..."So What"/
Your "BIG PASSPORT" is safe in your home.
