What Some People Here Didn't Want to Hear Was ...
In the US, asking "Is it legal?" is the same as "Will I get in trouble if I do this?" Here, they are absolutely two distinct questions with two distinct - and different - answers.
I would say that if you want to do such a thing you just have to set up your business like, and think like, a Dominican would. I don't doubt that what you propose may be legal. Although I know the import of XXX videos, most sex toys, is illegal at customs. Even the showing of MTV has been banned frequently by the government at times.
So, come down discretely, set up your equipment at some nice location, and grab the girls over a day or two, or a weekend, and then pack up everything and get to the other side of the island as fast as you can. There will be no way for angry relatives, girls who've changed their mind, or police who want a piece of your action, etc. to find you. Legal, or not.
Then the only problem you're left with is finding a way to get the product out of the country in some form. I'd digitize it and send it out over a fast internet connection somewhere rather than risk it being found in luggage on the way out.
