Finally Moving to DR

There is no institution in the DR which will equal educational opportunities of the US, nor professional or income opportunities of the US
For your children.
This was the primary reason, aside from my job, we came to EU, unfortunately. Our kids went to a very good private school in the DR, but coming from Scandinavia, it's still not the same, and as our kids are growing, papers from schools that are well acknowledged, would be important. There are many very good private schools in the DR (also some very expensive, that we could never afford), but as our younger has also had severe learning difficulties due to previous serious health conditions, even my wife, born and raised in the DR, was hesitating (did not want to) putting him to a kindergarten/school there... Now he's been in a EU school for only 6 months, and the progress is something we cannot believe... Our older son turns just 11yo and is very smart and he has it clear what he wants to be when grown-up so we felt that options could be partially limited in the DR...
