Fire Station for Jamao!

Hi, Friends-

I traveled to the US for a board meeting.
Our mayor came along and I introduced him to two fire departments. Jamao has land to build a station and we will do some local fund raisers in Jamao for building funds..

Meanwhile one of the fire departments just replaced their suits and air tank equipment. They are donating the old ones to Jamao.

Now, the big missing piece is the used fire truck. We understand they can be purchased for about $20,000 USD.

This is not a Strength for the Journey project, but rather a Pueblo project. Nevertheless, I am helping the town raise funds for the truck. Please consider helping out! Even a small amount is appreciated!

I know a retired fire chief and will be asking him about a used fire truck. I know some have been gifted or donated to some towns in the DR. I’ll also make a donation soon as well.

They’re certainly not easy to find and may require good contacts and organization in the US or where ever.

I’ll keep looking and hope others will also make some effort as well as a nice donation.

It’s not a competition but it is a great cause.

You and some of the other mods are more interested in stalking and harassing members than going any good. Perhaps you should channel that energy into finding a 🚒 fire truck or having a real fundraising campaign.

That would be a much better use for your time and energy
