If you are heading toward Samana, it maybe difficult for several days. This photo was taken on the main highway just before Nagua.

The Forecast Changed

"WindGuru" (which is quite reliable) says RAIN (for a few days).

My son (the kite surfer) now tells me that "WindGuru" changed its forecast.
We'll have mainly dry and sunny weather, clouds yes, but hardly any rain.
