In Europe everything is expensive. If you are form the US they see you as a bank to rip you off.

I pay more for my phone, for my internet, for my electricity and for my sons school here in Puerto Plata and even for other things than in my home country in Europe.
Compared to US many countries are actually cheaper if you study them one by one..
