There the story of the guy who wants to pick Blueberries up on the mountain. He asks his friend if he wants to come with. His friends says,
"Are you kidding? There are bears up there! What will we do if we come across one?"
~"We'll run.."
"The bears can run fast though, and they're hungry!"
~"Well, I don't think I could outrun a bear, but I'm damn certain I can outrun you!"
The moral of the story is even if the DR is going down, it's not going down as fast as other places, including the mainland.
