Furniture Shopping in Santiago

Thanks WW. That would work but I'm looking for one stop shopping. They come measure, 2nd trip come and hang everything. No muss, no fuss.

its been a while but I think the fabric shop in STI made the curtains for us ---I think !!

was 2008... before we had any local connections

They had a rod selection and the fabrics...
sorry can't remember where it was - but it was a big store - 2 levels

Some of th artisan bedroom stuff is nice. You find this south of Santiago heading to La Vega. Plenty high end in same area. I think the store called Hawaii in Santiago is reasonable too. I bought a dining room set awhile back for 80,000

...bought some things at hawaii..had very good luck with their things....bought a large piece of furniture from a store near Hawaii, bad deal ,always ask if the furniture is made from aquacate wood and if yes....... avoid..........

Was it on Bartolo Colon sorta across from the old airport? Duda, I think? Tons of curtain and upholstery materials?

Never found nice lamps in the DR, even in Santiago. Try Amazon for lamps too.
