For parents in 48 different towns who will be sending their children back to school, at least part-time, Tuesday is The Day! According to Education Minister Roberto Fulcar, 48 communities are in good shape to get the kids back into the schools, after nearly a year of frustrating “distance learning.”
The reopening is being coordinated by officials from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Public Health. According to the Ministry of Education, at least 27 school buildings were completely refurbished for this reopening.
The Ministry of Public Health said these schools would be the first to reopen given the low incidence of Covid-19 in those municipalities. As reported, on Easter Saturday, authorities from the ministries visited several schools to check on the conditions, and they said that they were more than pleased.
