Correct .. Anyone with Experience in these Scenarios .. Detectives are pretty sharp .. as are Private Investigators ..
They are very Logical. when it does not add up, they keep searching til the pieces finally fit .
Only the DOMINICAN Authorities, IMO immediately ASSUMED " oh she drowned,, many people drown here"
They dont care if they are right or wrong.. they dont want the Publicity .
But its too late for that now.
Interesting side note here:

[Security Camera Footage Analysis:
Security camera footage has been crucial, showing the group partying in the resort lobby until 3 a.m. on March 6, then heading to the beach around 4 a.m. (India Today). At 5:55 a.m., footage captured five women and one man, Carter Johnson, leaving the beach, leaving Konanki and Riibe behind (Diario Libre). Riibe was seen leaving at 9:55 a.m., but there are no cameras on the beach itself, leaving a four-hour gap unaccounted for (Mirror US). This gap is critical, and no new footage details have emerged recently, limiting further insights.]

Interesting since the girls met these cornpone potato heads for the first time at this resort, is Johnson a friend from home of Riibe? Maybe Riibe had off camera help from Johnson.

Interpol is also involved. Unfortunately the PN won't be able to sweep this under the rug chalked off to a drunken drowning at this point. I would be very very surprised if between the FBI and Interpol they don't turn up the girl or her body. The PN are useless as teets on a bull.

Let's not forget: the young lady has dual citizenship India/US. That said, the Director of the FBI and long time ally of Modi, Kash Patel, is Indian. The wife of the VP of the US is Indian. The girl's family is from a very high profile wealthy zip code in Va.

This will not be swept under the rug as a mere drunk drowning.

I have big question: What and why RIU Hotel where she was missing had power outage??

They can't afford to pay electric or some of bullshit maintenance or they did for a reason?

Since Punta Cana has 24/7 electric by CEPM, something is not right here.

Why I am venting about this? FOX was talking about this specific issue.

It is in fact, optically, horrific. Even a Dominican public school student may call it suspicious timing for a power outage

@El Hijo de Manolo gave a breakdown of security footage in #241 that would seem to indicate any power outage didn't affect those cameras, as they have footage showing those early morning hours. If this is not correct, investigation will bring it out...if I missed something on that, apologies,

There has been no statement by the hotel or investigators that would indicate no cameras were affected by the power outage. There is no magic behind batteries. They will drain at some point.

Adding: what if certain cameras were intentionally deactivated or damaged? n.b. just spitballing

Be honest with you. I know for the fact, she is dead, her body is somewhere. This wont be pretty. PN is useless. I hope FBI will solve the case and give this family some closure.

This is shit show more than ever, in DR history from my knowledge.

Wow!
13 pages already?
You folks really having a go at it.

Other guest who were part of her group have made some less than flattering comments about this resort, the staff and how the power outages led to people being locked out of their rooms, no a/c with no hot water.

What does Mr. Collado have to say about all of this?

Why in today's society always somebody else has to be responsible if another person f... up ?????
Believe me People can drown by them self.
If you go into the water during the night without the presence of a lifeguard and you die than it must be somebody else fault but yours !?.
I don't understand this world anymore.

"nobody warned us about waves" . To the same people that made this Statement; Yes there are waves in the ocean and you might even get wet when entering it. Tell me that you are an American without telling me that you are an American. And btw.... please don't dry your pets in the microwave.

Video of the group at 5:16 in the morning on their way to the beach. Notice how the detained male has one arm around the missing girl and the other hand holding a drink:

The timeline changes again. Now, the hotel camera shows them going to the beach a 5:16am. The guy in custody is shown with a drink in his hand. Young kids just leaving a bar at a resort with free drinks on spring break with a drink in his hand. Shocking. Who would have guessed?
