Of course, I went shopping today at Bravo. Maybe I'll go and buy some wine.

That is great but how were the lines...
Parking lot and store were empty.
We got three 15 minutes before 6am when they open.
We always go grocery shopping at opening time.

An hour later at 7am still was below normal.
I guess folks were sleeping in for the holiday.

Check out lines were only 1-2 deep at 7am plus.

... MIS-READ THE "FINE" DETAILS

I went to BRAVO to redeem one of my 1,000 pesos coupons.

I was dutifully informed that in order to redeem it for the 1,000 pesos, I must purchase at least 10,000 pesos in products, and they will then subtract 1,000 pesos from the bill.

In other words, I would need to purchase on a minimum of 10 separate trips, approximately 100,000 pesos or more in products to use all 10 coupons.

Typical. If something sounds too good to be true, read the fine print. 😊

It's still a good deal if you're a regular Bravo shopper.

True, easy to spend 10,000 if you wait to do a big order
But difficult for a small family to do 10 of those 10,000 peso shopping trips before December 31st.
They said I needed to spend 10,000, not up to 10,000 to use each of the ten coupons.

I was there on Wednesday and came across a few buys: Pasta, tuna in cans, sardines and prepared lunch of paltanos lasagne that I ate in the car going back to JD. Fantastic item.
