la sirena in santiago, cashier told us that in a couple of weeks they are stopping free plastic bags, got into a conservation cos we use french type big carriers with handles that u buy once and bring with u... Everyone seemed to think it was a grest idea. I always take a couple of sirena plastic bags off them cos they make great bin bags for toilet bins.....
So, they are going to do it faster than I thought...once they get rid of the bags in SD I'll go back to my plastic crates. Bad thing is that we'll have to start buying garbage bags...
I almost always bring my shopping bags and unless I tell them, most think they have to pack the stuff into the plastic bags and THEN into my bags... go figure... And when I ask them to put all the refrigerated stuff together and to NOT put all the liquids in one single bag, then it gets complicated!! lol
