It's amazing how it requires the arrival of The Spectre of Death for people to learn to wash their damn hands...
And wash the damn food you bring home too. Who knows who pawed all over it before you.

Yes, except it gets interrupted by ambulance sirens which makes it even more creepy. Oh, the joy of city living !!

On a more positive note, deep gratitude and appreciation for teachers who handle monsters/kids daily. They need a raise :)

Nurse, teachers, cops, researchers (paid peanuts), supermarket cashiers :bunny:

I don't know the wages in NYC but I suspect teachers are way above the country average. RN Nurses in my province make 50-54 dollars per hour. Practical nurses make 28-33 dollars and hour. Teacher vary from a low of 54000 per annum to 90,000 plus. Cops start at around 72,000 . Cashiers around 17 per hour.

Minimum wage in the US is just over $7. In NY, just over $11. Cashiers typically in this catagory. Minus 7% for Soc Security and a couple other deductions.

The world seems better without the people :)
Less pollution worldwide. Wild animals are now roaming the streets of some cities, such as this one in Chile.

Hmm, that's reason enough for staying shut during the quarantine. lol

No such thing visualized in Dominican cities though.

Expect rats in the streets like in New Orleans.. It will be a good time to kill as many as possible.

First goats, now DEER! Herd takes over east London housing estate by lounging on front lawns as animals continue to roam deserted streets during coronavirus lockdown
A herd of deer have taken up residence in an east London housing estate in Harold Hill from Dagnam Park
Locals believe the deer approached the estate due to the lack of car traffic and pedestrians in the area
The deer invasion followed a video yesterday of goats taking over Llandudno, south Wales

My area is now so quiet, it's total bliss!!! No more AirBnB tourists from Santo Domingo, it's like heaven again :)

I am wondering how the heck will I adapt to the noise again?!?!?!
