That's great for the people in northern Ontario. From Edmonton we still have to go thru Toronto or Montreal with a lay over or a red eye. Last time I was in Thunder Bay the population was down to about 27 people in the city and a few more in the sticks.
How is it possible that a city of over 1,000,000 can't get a direct flight and a small town can. All sarcasm aside, every flight we take here at least a third of the people I recognize are on the connecting flight from Edmonton to the DR.
