You might be surprised! I was in a gay bar once (not here but in a different Latin country) and guy after guy hit on me (a straight female). Exasperated, I finally pointed out to one that why was a gay guy hitting on a woman in a gay bar? He looked shocked and said, with no sense of irony, "Yo? Gay? No, no... estoy aqui para hacer amistades!"
