Actually, depending on which type of exercise you need, there is a good alternative to the gym in Sosua - our Spinning Studio is a couple of kilometres towards Cabarete, right off the main road to the left. We have a large sign pointing you to the Studio, where our state-of-the-art, official Johnny G spinning bikes are waiting for you in an air-conditioned studio. Monday through Friday they open early, 6 or 7 am, I believe, and are open until 8 or 9. Hours on Saturday a little shorter. Closed Sunday and most holidays.
