Haitian gang member arrested in Jimaní; lynched once returned to Haitian Police

A man identified as Sanson Louis and said to be a member of the notorious Haitian gang “400 Mawozo” was apprehended by National Police (PN) in a small shack located in the El Arroyo sector of the Boca de Cachón Municipal District, in Independencia province on the border with Haiti. The so-named Sanson Louis did not have identification documents on him at this time of arrest by the Police officers led by the border district commander, Lieutenant Colonel Henry H. Novas Matos.

According to the police report, the foreign national was found in possession of 12 sections of cyclone fencing, two large hoops, three machetes and knives, a bolt cutter, a file, an adjustable wrench, a black smartphone, and a “maquito” (small) phone.

* It should be noted that he wasn’t arrested at the border. Boca de Cachón is a bit away from the border. Hence, he was already in the DR. He simply had the bad luck to be caught before moving further east to Azua, Santo Domingo, Boca Chica, Punta Cana, Las Terrenas, Cabarete, Sosúa, etc. How many of Haitian gangsters that cross the border are caught like that?

I always understood it was hanging. I looked it up and yes, apart from the Lynch syndrom, David Lynch, I found it. It’s to put to death by mob action, preferably by hanging.
One keeps on learning.

Supposedly, some Haitian gangs have established in some border towns in the Haitian side and one of their goals is penetrating the DR to extend the Haitian gangs to the country. This is according to what was said in Somos Pueblo.

I really don’t think thid is actual news since it was obvious eventually they will put their eyes on the DR. Whether they will be able to is somewhat up in the air. Haiti doesn’t have an effective military and police force while the DR’s is more effective. They will have to contend with that first, something most of them really haven’t done over there.
