Has a propane tank ever blown up in a moto-concho accident?

And the way I have seen propane tanks attached inside converted cars is pretty scary.
Just thrown in the back with a couple of chains over it.

that's a matter of fact truth.
thrown on the back of pick up trucks,
tied up a bit with some rope or rubber bands aso,
and let's hit the road.
but i personally never saw one going off or such, yet.

at work we once had a fantasy about first dominican in space - a motoconchista blown off his bike after the tank catches fire.
alas, i have not witnessed such fantastic event.

Scary is when you sit in the back of a public car and the tank keeps pushing you in the back when ever the driver put on the brakes. Or when you ask to be let off the public car because you’re getting nauseated from the gas smell and the other passengers just look at you as if you were an alien.
