If a beach is at the top of your agenda, may we suggest Club Dominicus, Casa del Mar, or hotels in the Punta Cana area. Weather in June is great.

Hi, I stayed in Puerto Plata at the Paradise Beach and Casino resort, last June and had an excellent time! Beach is very close, walk in under a minute and clean and not alot of people that time of the year. Staff at this resort were very friendly. Weather was EXTREMELY hot, like 40 almost every day, but cooler by the ocean. It rained every day for only 2 minutes then would clear up beautiful. Have a great time!

Hi! We are a couple of russians living in Moscow. We are planning a 2-weeks trip to Dominican Republic this June, but can not decide where to stay - what part of the island is the best ? Northern or Southern coast ? We are specially looking for beautiful nature and wonderful, not crowded beaches with clean water, good for swimming, as we are not pool fans. Also please, give us an advice about the weather in June. Should we expect a lot of rains ? Maybe, June is not a good time for Dominican Republic in general ? Hotel recommendations would be highly appreciated too. Thank you.
