Ok, sorry for the delay.
The owner of the bar was not Dominican, but a middle-eastern guy with a pony tail, who thinks he is the king of the town. The next morning, we spent time between the police station and the courthouse and when they said that we had to go to La Vega (his friends couldn't help him) he wanted to drop the whole thing.
