Just make sure your flow rate is high enough, too low and they won't work. gas or electric. Therefore a pressure tank!

For the hot water in the kitchen use the tankless water heater.in fact not only kitchen i am using hot water in washing machine, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and sink and yeah, i must say tankless heater never run me out of hot water.

So, go for tankless one it is affordable and best choice.

Have a good day buddy!

That's what we've been talking about. Just wake up?

I went the tankless route a few years back. Brackish water is their enemy. The minerals in the water will do a number on them in no time.

Love the idea, but the smart person will filter the water going in if you want them to last.

Our old tankless went Kaput just as my daughter arrived this week.

Fast fix.... Linares in Cabarete...
Gold Star brand.... excellent...
Very good adjustments....besides summer/winter
Gas control for hotness....

7000 pesos with the 10% for cash discount

Not bad in a squeeze

I have a propane heater, on demand, located in the bathroom. Next to it is a CO2 alarm just in case.

Propane tends to be OK as long as it's working well, we used to power fork lift trucks in the warehouse with them as it is deemed 'safe'.

Cost around RD$10000 for a unit that can power two showers at the same time.

You may want to change that CO2 sensor for a CO (Carbon Monoxide) sensor.

I too am looking at installing hot water into the house system. Pipes are already there.
I did once have a Propane on demand tank-less system; but is burnt out within a year.
I will try the Solar unit ...a few days now and then on cold water will not hurt us.... I do not remember the brand name though.
Always open to suggestions.
