I've been searching in the data base but I couldn't find any post (I'm sure I've read about it) about hotels in Santo Domingo, near Zona Colonial.
Anyone can help me? I'm searching a nice hotel, near this area...

Hotel Frances - By Sofitel ****
This hotel is an antique century XVI colonial house, preserve from its origine. An autenthic atmosphere and a Spanish architecture style. All 19 rooms have a garden view.

This hotel was just reopened last June 15, 2000, after undergoin a major renovation.

Hotel Palacio
This is another very well preserve antique century XVI colonial house.

Cheap hotels in Santo Domingo???

I 've been searching thrpugh the internet but cannot find any. I?m looking for something such a youth hostel or a bread and breakfast place. If you know something about those kind of places in the city, please let me know. Thanks!!!
