Today when she phoned me and I innocently asked about me being the best father in DR, what I have to do, etc...She told me that, in DR the best father sometimes pays for some expenses in the wedding, altough, she also told me that I was not going to pay a cent since i dont know the couple at all cool: ).

On the contrary, this trip to DR on December is going to be pretty cheap to me since i only have to pay the plane ticket and food / enterteinment for myself, of course. She offered my place to stay, with her family in spite of that i insissted several times in going to a hotel, she refused.

All the people in this forum had helpme a lot, each one deffending his/her position, but all helped to see things clearly

But do not you think that she is maybe heavily confused and she does not know what she wants. She is between the aparent love she feels for me and the future of her child, far away from her family and by the other hand she has a man who can economic support her but she is not in love with.

I know you just want to help me and i appreciate a lot, believe me, but, since you seems to be good advisers, put you on the other side, her side and tell me what you will do:

- different country
- no possibilities of getting a job (due argentina economic crisis most of DR women end working like whores).

- no family and friends around
- seriously concern about her child future (of course)

And taking into account that i clearly told her that i am not in position of giving her any money and i am not planning to do it, she stills stays with me.
