Cool. Thanks God that it's not ME who is hijacking and getting off the thread's topic. I wouldn't want this thread to be closed!!!. I guess that sharing private info is thread related, my bad.

Carry on.......!

you guys need to chill

you are both good people and should relax

if you keep fighting like this, you can forget about giving Escott those special massages that you give him.

anyhow, picking up women in DR is simpler when you speak the language.

and it is time to get off this NYC nonsense about women. It is not that NYC women don't want to talk to you;it is all about having game.

Dear AZB(or anyone else), a question for you...

it is very contradictory, but such is life and I am sure you will agree. There are some turistas who are looking for a "nice" girl to mess around with as opposed to a straight-up working girl. To me this does not make sense.

I guess they are looking for the temporary romantic "Please, baby, make me fell like you're with me because you like me" type of deal. I've never been able to understand this but since you live in the DR maybe you could shed some light on this phenomenon.

I always believed that you cannot have both, especially in such a short span during a vacation that lasts 2 weeks if you're lucky. This does'nt stop from people being hypnotized into thinking temporary trysts with a dominican can be seen as true love. Any thoughts? Your answers can help those looking to date a dominicana.

Let make it even simpler. You can do both. Many well rounded guys who frequent santiago or other non-touristy towns have the best of both worlds. Example: i know some guys who come and grab anything in sight ex: hookers, cheap ghetto whores and even ex girlfriends. Then they also take time out to meet a nice university girl to keep in contact with for future visits.
A good friend of mine from NYC comes here every month. He has a few girlfriends in NYC and also keeps a steady girlfriend in santiago. However, he also hunts for all types of girls, from university students to easy ghetto chopas. This way he is not desperate and when it comes times to wine and dine a decent educated girl, he knows how to keep his hands to himself.
Now no one says that you can't mingle with chica beepers (call girls) or a chopa from a barrio. You can do both. Come here, have fun with easy girls but also make friendship with a decent university girl for future romantic relationship.

from a proud of being a dominican girl

hi azb and everybody in this forum,
my name is magdalena, i am chris nj's girlfriend. I am a dominican girl.
I am coming from a middle class family. when i was in my country i was a student in o&m university in puerto plata. I was living in la union but i also was living in sosua from 1984 to 1990. Right now i am living here in United States almost one year and i would like to say to you and to everybody in this forum. there is no color (black, white, yellow, trigueno or mulatos), there is no class,(high, middle,or poor) every person in the world is a human and should be consider as human not as a color or class. everybody has feeling and i think that we should learn to appreciate the person next door. i am not writing this to make feel bad anybody i just feel so dissapointed when i read my boyfriend's forum page. i feel so bad because i see that the people we are not changing our point of view of the life we are thinking like the people from the 18 century come on we are in the 21 century we need to learn to be human and to appreciate life and love.
my perfect world could be where people are treat like human not because the color that you are or because the money or class that you have.unfortunality this is just in my dream.
i just want people to wake up and try to live their life and to love whoever they want. if you find the person who you think is going to be the right one for you follow your heart and dont give up. love is the most beautiful feeling that we have so dont be scared of it just because of the color or class of the person who you love if you feel in love fight for it and dont think about what the hell the people are going to think live your life and dont leave others people live for you.

well i hope that you can understand my writing because i am just learning.
please i know that we can learn about the meaning of love, life and peace.
so good luck to everybody.
thank you
magdalena
peace and love

Question asked by someone was;

Why is it that there are so many high quality single women? Is it a lack of prospects right there in their own back yard? Are these women opposed to marrying dominican men, or is it something else?

AZB said:
Most educated decent women from good families only prefer domincian men of equal status. many dominican poor desperate women will only consider a foreign male. now I am talking about the majority so there are many exceptions to the rule. Its just dominican women like any other person from any other country prefer to stay in their own culture and speak their own language if convenient.
Now elegible dominican bachelor has some distinct advantages over women. Eligible dominican bachelors really don't want to get married and get tied down. There are many more decent educated dominican women as compared to men. Just go to any university and see the majority of the student body is women (70%, my estimate). A decently educated dominican good looking male has all cut out for him if he has some money as well. There are plenty of women who desire a classy male who lives well and holds a good job. There are tons of tigres everywhere who do nothing but hold cheap paying jobs and get drunk listening to bachata music. All educated women like to dress up and be taken out by classy guys in late model cars and be pampared. But the truth is, there are very few decent rich guys as compared to tigres and an abundance of cute classy girls in major cities, who are fighting for a good guy.
So in simple terms, the educated decent good looking dominican bachelor has a prime pick of the crop. he can have as many as 5-7 girlfriends at a time who look like super models. Not to mention, he always picks up a cute girl from a barrio for a quick motel trip. All dominican women want a classy rich guy so they have to fight one another to get a hold of one.
Now are you all getting my point? So if you are fairly young looking or even old, with class, money to spend and live in a decent house, you can get whatever you want in DR. This is a country where women out number men if you mingle in a certain class of folks.
So to all foreign women, I have sad news for you all: No real dominican eligible bachelor will ever marry a foreign girl unless she looks like britney spears. The reason is simple, these guys don't care for your cash, they have it all. they have visa and they date 1st class university girls who look like miss. universe contentants. the foreign women and men always find dominican who are either jobless, poor, work for 200 dollars / month or simply a ghetto tigre. the working folks don't want to stoops so low as to find tourists who migle with such low trash of this country.
This is the truth.

100% agreed. Time spent together among friends should be kept away from public eyes for the sake of privacy. Now My dirty laundry was posted all over Dr1 by so called a friend. This same person posted pictures (in his blog) of a visitor in his house in towel with part of his butt showing. So it all boils down to this: nothing is private when it comes to sharing time with scott. I posted his dirty laundry to show that he is no different from the low life perverts from sosua. No wonder he chose to make that place his home, a place of "on your-face-ugly hookers".
I can also post the pictures of the chopa he has screwed, but I think I will refrain from that. I have a life to live than to collect data for my daily blog. how pathetic.
AZB
You are no different either. That is the point of the exercise. You only claim to be.

Escott

PS> Does this mean you won't have lunch with me next time I go shopping for stuff in Santiago?

This part of magdalena's quote was not written by me. She has this part confused with some one else's. I think it was a question posted by someone and the rest of the quote is my response.

AZB, you might not have said it, but it look's like you did. See your posting #77 in this thread:

http://www.dr1.com/forums/showpost.php?p=293746&postcount=77

We all need to be careful with the [ QUOTE] and [ /QUOTE]. We should all take an extra couple of seconds and preview what we write.:nervous:

In most cases people try to edit much of the quote but they also remove one of the {quote} marks. Therefore the next person to quote will quote the whole thing wrong. I can see it now.
