How to Pronounce Samana

Ive heard it most often (incorrectly) as sa MAH nah...sounding very much like semana (the spanish word for week).
I don't think they're referring to bed sheets in Georgia when I'm talking about fish in coconut sauce, pero...who knows...

Yes I meant to tell you...tried the pizza...they now will prepare the majority of my meals! pizza, sushi, burgers....what's next? hmmm.... chocolate Ya! or...wait for it... pescado con coco Ya!
