Hillbilly the food was decent at TGIF. And besides it pleased my husband. He was rather not very thrilled with the local food b/c I think he went with a closed mindset about the country period. We've been in Germany for 4+ years and he missed "American" food so he was thrilled. Overall my quesadilla was good so I had no complaints either. But thanks for all the advice & tips you gave me for my trip to Santiago. They helped very much.
Oh my I forgot to tell you I caught a bus to Samana at the same address you gave me but it was a diff. company and we didn't realize until the driver handed out cards at the rest stop. We jumped on because our taxi asked and they said they were going to Samana and it left at 0930 which is the same time the other company was to depart. Man that was one hell of a bus drive. I want to say NEVER AGAIN but I should know better than to say never. Who needs rollercoasters in DR when you get on one of those buses and live the same thrill, scared for ones life and adrenaline pumping high? Eeeeeeeeeeek! We made it to Samana with a new appreciation for life ahahhaah

HI ANY New updates on the Rotanda hotel?? It is supossedly by the metro bus and a Mcdonalds I guess going east of The Plaza Monument restoracion yes? Are the cheapies still 350 pesos?? That would make it like I think 11 dollars a night? MY other choices would be the Cibaoa I heard on Moncon is like 14 a night or even less and the Colonial? Are the real sleaze cheap places by plaza duarte that bad too???
