A local influencer said he was inspired by the attack on former US President Donald Trump on Saturday, 13 July 2024 to threaten Dominican President Luis Abinader with his life to gain views.

Views he gained, but also a major legal problem. The young man only identified by the Police as Starlin, threatened to hit Abinader in the head in a video that went viral across several social media platforms. He wanted attention. I wonder how that attention will feel bent over a metal prison bed?

He needs 10 years for his sheer stupidity.
Whether it's a sitting president or candidate - free elections are the way to settle it in democracies.

Many of us have disagreed or loathed our country's elected leader. But if they suck really bad at their job the people will figure it out & give them the boot. (in fair honestly counted election).

But assainations are only used by sick, weak people.

I love the term influencer. It sounds so much better than unemployed mooch
It means he has pimple-faced loser followers living in their parents house at 20 wonder how to get people to acknowledge they even exist.
Names like Crooks, Hinkley and Sirhan come to mind.
We see a lot of Dominican tigueres who kill for a gold chain or a Chinese pasola so they can be noticed as having 'status'. They really think they've arrived as a 'player' with a 10-year old Sonata especially in mamey color

It's as if a name like "Crooks" was hand-selected 🧐 At least in DR, they identify and intercept the sociopaths first

Lots of time to think about engaging his brain before his mouth. I suspect they'll let him out after a week or so.
