Apparently, the entire border is closed, not just the stretch in Dajabón. According to today's Listín Diario on p 8, the mayor of Anse-a-Pitre, Haiti was injured due to a protest regarding the continuance of the closure. He went to the public hospital in Pedernales, DR to get treatments for his injuries. Makes one wonder if a public hospital exist in Anse-a-Pitre or if he was too worried about his safety that he decided to go to the Dominican hospital. That's the Haitian mayor in the photo getting treatment in the Dominican hospital. His injuries were made by his fellow Haitians.

This is round two of the Haitian people giving the finger to the Haitian authorities. I don't need to say much since the video says it all. In case people don't notice, that is the Haitian border door now closer to the Dajabón River like never before.
