Does anyone know if the drug Januvia (sitagliptin) is readily available in the DR? My doctor here in the U.S. just prescribed it to me and I am heading back down to Sosua soon for a 9 month stay and I am concerned that I will not be able to get it there. Thanks.

yes, it's available. 119 pesos for each pill of 100 mg (checked in farmacia popular in PP).

my advice would be to buy a whole box, if you can, paying cash. many pharmacies will offer 10% discount on such purchases.

My wife has been prescribed for Januvia 100mg. She is on Medicare prescription plan nd this drug will cost us a lot. The retail price is about $500 dollars for 30 pills. Has anyone purchased Januvia recently in DR and how it cost now?
