Presuming you are driving?
Go down the hill. When you get to the bottom (traffic Light), go under the highway and go left.
Follow your nose to Santiago. Follow Pto Pta -> signs when you get to Santiago. You will be going off to the right.
Go straight at the first light and turn right at the second light (going over the overpass...NOT UNDER!!..[You will go past the Gran Almirante Hotel and Casino and the second light is where the Hache Building and Anthony's Stores are..can't miss it]
That is the Luperón tourist Highway to Sosua and Cabarete. You go up and over the mountains.
When you come out to the main highway, go right. First big town is Sosua, the second one is Cabarete.
ALTERNATE ROUTE
Slightly more confusing but just as easy.
As you go towards Santiago, about 10 minutes after getting on the highway, be aware of a turn off for MOCA. there is an unfinished overpass that marks the intersection and a lot of confusion. Go Right.
When that road ends at a "sort of" T, to left.
Follow that road until you come to the intersection by the FORT/JAIL. Go left down the hill. Go straight at the stop light at the bottom.
As you come up the hill, you go straight for about a kilometer or so and then you come to an intersection (more like a fork) and you go to the riight (straight basically) You will see a TEXACO station on your right about 100 yards up the road. Good idea to fill up.
Follow that road for about two or three kilometers. Watch for a busy intersection with a tiny little Police station and signs that says JAMAO-->. Turn right.
Follow that road up and over (you might want to catch a bite at the CAFETO restaurant with georgeous views). You come out onthe highway to the EAST of Cabarete. Turn left for Cabarete and then Sosúa.
Not hard...
