The Central Electoral Board (JCE) launched its campaign to promote voting in the 5 July 2020 presidential and congressional election. The theme is: “Everyone is essential
The creators of the campaign want people to focus on Covid-19 frontline workers – doctors, nurses, firefighters, supermarket workers, telecom workers and how they are essential in these times. But then it delivers the message that on 5 July 2020 everyone’s vote is needed to decide the future of the country.
The campaign shares messages such as “when we need you most, you did your duty,” “for democracy, we are all essential”, among others along that line.
The campaign will also be gradually introducing Covid-19 voting protocols to ensure the safety of citizens.
