Back in the early 50's the British Isles had double summer time, it was great, I lived in the Isle of Man and was on the beach until 10 pm.

They were posting the 6:30 pm US news at 7;30 pm - local time..... quite correctly, all winter.

This past Sunday, they still kept showing the news coming on at 7:30pm when, in fact it came at 6:30pm...... b/c of the time change.

I guess this is why they don't change:glasses:

Haven't you noticed that your US programs are now showing an hour earlier?

All the initial posts in this thread are happy about that.

Yeeehhaaaa.

My Mrs been quiet upset for missing her beloved 11PM Novela on Monday Eve,
because it started of course on 10PM and ended by 11PM, ha ha ha.

why I didn't tell Her??
go figure.

but Hey,
the DVD Movie I slipped into the Player shortly after 11PM been enjoyable, lolol.

but on Tuesday at the darn Salon she figured it out,
smart Gals, lolol.
