This is what I don't understand, there is little growth over long periods of time and no depth in the communication yet people still get married.

Some of these people have been staying in contact like that for months. But I don't see a dialogue going on their. There's no real progress. They're not getting to know each other, they remain on the same level.

They feel as long as they have love, communication is of little importance! I don't know?

But how can you love someone when you don't really know the person?
I mean what's there to love? The same old luvvy-duvvy-bull**** over and over again? Doesn't seem satisfactory to me...
Maybe they just don't want to grow and move on together, maybe it's like somebody else described - they want to keep their illusions about the true character of their partner?
Some people are into that kind of self-betrayal...
