A sad day in NYC!! The oldest Spanish bookstore in the country is closing it's doors at the end of the month!! They've been in business for almost 50 years.
It was a great bookstore. They had everything imaginable. Dictionaries, books from all the Spanish speaking countries. They had a section-- not huge but big enough dedicated to the Dominican Republic.
They are now going to have an online business but for me it's not the same. I like browsing and looking at the books.
They hope to open another store sometime in the future but who knows....
I went to the website and I wasn't happy. I'm hoping that it's because they are just starting out.
