Hey folks,
i need some travel information since i'll be heading to cofresi in a few weeks.
Since I am a heavy smoker :cheeky:, I need a steady supply of menthol cigs (marlboro lights menthol or newport are fine): Are there colmados within walking distance of be live carey? I found out about "Chris&Mady's" running a gift shop and restaurant there. Are they still in business?
Regarding transportation, i got a coach seat from the airport and return prebooked - however, if I'd like to go to Puerto Plata in order to buy something (i.e. cigarettes ), I am certain taking a taxi from the resort entrance is the quickest, yet most expensive way (taxi cartels somehow do exist in every single country of the world). I guess I should walk to the nearest street and hail a taxi/carro publico/guagua (how to distinguish?) there. What should I expect to pay?
Third question: I saw a large supermarket on my last trip to POP while doing a puerto plata city tour. Forgot the name though. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance for any answer
