I left my car for a week 11:30am-1:30pm a week later

But be careful to park in the long term area which is well to the right and behind you he parked planes on the tarmac

Use the short term and you could be booted

I always use long term up to a week then cheaper to take a cab living close by.
Never had an issue . I think there is security for the long term.

What happened to your friend ?

Why do they have pricing for staying a week in the long term parking if they boot you after a couple of days.
Something does not sound right.

Was he really parked in the upper parking which is usually 2/3 empty ?
The upper parking that I am talking about is the parking about the field of solar panel in the bottom left map.

Going in Italy in a couple of weeks for a week . Hoping that nothing has changed .

Thank you

This is really good info. 1365 pesos for a week is very reasonable. Now that I know the security is good, I'd much rather drive myself to the airport than take a taxi. Much cheaper, too - at least for a week or so anyway.

Left ours in Santiago 2 weeks ago. Returning there tonight. $300 pesos for the first day in long term parking and $250 a day after that. A bargain as it would have cost us much more to Uber from Sajoma. Or heaven forbid find a Dominican who we could have entrusted to drive our vehicle back and forth. The lot seemed secure. Checked us in as if you were returning a rental with a walk-around for any prior damage noted.

We retrieved our vehicle from the Santiago long term parking lot in the wee hours of the night Monday/Tuesday. There was an employee available. Took a matter of a couple minutes. Price quoted didn't change. Very happy. Farmer
