hello again!! Okay, let's look at a few things.
Do you have aminals?
Health issues?
I imagine if you work, you work on-line?
Let me tell you about Santiago.
It used to be a villa of some 40,000 folks. Today it is a major city, commercial and transportation hub. It has several important industrial free zones: PISANO, Santiago I, II and III and Tamboril. Plus dozens of smaller ones.
It also has, let's say, bdtween 4 and 6 major health center (private, of course): HOMS, Unión Médica del Norte, Materno-Infantil, Centro Médico del Cibao, Corominas and Bonilla. And, there are others of lesser quality. These six are where "we" go when sick. Everything from the top of your head--ENT, Neurologists, psychiatrists to the bottom of your feet...orthopedists and podiatrists-- are available. There are at least two importan cancer centers (HOMS and Unión Médica)
There are several universities, with the PUCMM being the oldest private, non-profit university. There is a major cultural scene, with Centro León and the Regional Theater, and at least five good/decent hotels.
Bunch of pharmacies.
Three social clubs, with the Centro Español being the most exclusive and Santiago CC and AMAPROSAN quite affordable.
There is a golf club: Las Aromas, 18 holes, Pete Dye design.
There are small zoos.
There is a major park at the old airport near the center of town where you can walk or bike.
The traffic is getting worse. Between peak hours it is fine, and at night (but they never dim their lights, unless yours are brighter!!)
There are churches of just about every Christian denomination with the Catholics the most wide-spread.
So, be a good person and let us know more about you so we can sort of point you in the right direction.
Cordially,
HB
