I don't think there is a sat. @ 118. What some people have done, is install a modified LNB support install a 2nd LNB and set the dish in between 110 and 119. You can pick up programming from both but the quality sucks. You get 2 weak receptions.

118 is the International channels on Dish Network, they are in the linear section of the sat freqs, but are actually circular signals. The new CB2008A covers a circular freq. of 11.7-12.7 (+/-). The normal LNB for circular is 12.2-12.7 (+/-).

118/119 is Anik F3 & EchoStar 7 - (2 separate sats).

What I did was set the dish for 110 and use a bracket to get 118/119 using the new LNB.

Thanks for the advise on the adjustment arm for the Dominican dishes Eddy.

Same Set-Up

Was not sure how you meant the above statement,
2 LNB?s total or 2 LNB's (1 for 119 and 1 for 118).
If the latter, there is a new LNB with excellent specs that covers both the 119/118 satellites. That is the one I am using, it is called CB2008A.

I meant 2 LNB's in total.
One we use for the two satellites EchoStar 8 and 10 on 110?West
and
the other one (also a CB2008A) for EchoStar7 (119?) and the AnikF3 satellite (118.8?).
