Looking to buy Apt. in Santo Domingo

I am looking at an apt. in Santo Domingo in Urb. Solimar Street is Leoncio Ruiz. Apt. has 2 BR each w/ bathroom. 3rd bathroom in the kitchen area, large living area. From the balcony you can see the malecon and sea. Maint. is $1340 Pesos. Anyone familiar with this area and can let me know more or less what similar apts. are going for. I dont have the exact square footage off hand. Its being offered to me by an associate who lives in the states and really has no more use for it. From what im told it is a good price. Obviously i would have it appraised, due dilligence etc. etc. I will be out in Feb and Mar to stay at the place, but would like some insite prior if possible. Thanks
