I have a hard time picturing a situation when you (meaning ricktoronto, not the general you) would have used that word in the DR.

Isn't cielo like saying that someone is heavenly?
On a side note, my Dominican husband used to call me all those things mention here but used Honey the most. lol

Paqueton means alot, as in, "Vamos a hablar un paqueton". Disregard how cubans use it...the DR is a different country. Latin countires use the same words in different ways. This is just one instance of that.

I kno this hasnt been replied to in a while but i am new to the forum and am looking for some names to call my guy back home in the dominican. i read alot of these and is there any more people can give with a translation? it would be greatly appreciated
